SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS
The Conroe ISD Education Foundation (“CEF”) grants scholarships to Conroe ISD graduating seniors who seek careers in teaching kindergarten through high school. CEF awards one-time scholarships in the amount of $500 or $1,000 toward tuition, fees and books during the student's first semester in college. CEF also awards some multiple semester renewable scholarships for a maximum of eight consecutive semesters of college study, so long as the student pursues a k-12 education or teaching degree as a full time student (passing a minimum of 12 hours per semester) and meets the academic criteria (maintaining a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.)
CEF has pledged over $300,000
