Mark those calendars for Thursday, April 24, 2008, 7:30 a.m., when Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent of Schools, will present the “State of Conroe ISD” at the Annual Scholarship Breakfast for the Conroe ISD Education Foundation! Special gratitude is owed to the second time Presenting Sponsor of this event, PBK Architects.  Hundreds of attendees are expected in support of this event to raise funds for scholarships.  Conroe ISD has exciting plans for the future, and Dr. Stockton will deliver some great news about what is happening now!  The CEF Breakfast will also showcase the winners of the 2008 Scholarships for Future Teachers, as well as first time scholarships for continuing education for current CISD teachers.  “Planting Seeds of Knowledge to Grow the Teaching Field” is what CEF is all about, and Sponsorships are vital to the success of this Breakfast.  Contact CEF today for information!

The 2007 Conroe I.S.D. Education Foundation Scholarship Winners were announced by Tom Cox, Secretary/Treasurer of the CEF, at the First Annual Scholarship Breakfast on May 1, 2007.

Out of 16 exceptional applicants, these 8 were chosen to receive scholarships of $2,000.00 per year, for all 4 years of their college attendance.  The CEF looks forward to watching these gifted students become great teachers.  May they return to Conroe ISD to inspire other students as they have been inspired.
